Rosario Costanzo – Skins
Born in Coreno Ausonio, Italy
A.K.A. "Ro"

Ever since the age of 5, Rosario has had a unique love and passion for the drums. It was at a baptism of his neighbor’s son in Italy where he first experienced the drums up close, he was mesmerized and the love for the instrument began. Although constantly beating on any object in front of him, sometimes with devastating results (don’t ask his Mom what happened to her brand new kitchen chairs), his first opportunity to actually play on a real set came at the sweet age of 15 when he scrounged up enough money to purchase any used drum pieces he could find in order to create a set (by the way, his favorite one) and after a few months of sweat and missed homework, joined a friend’s local band when he was asked if he could replace a drummer friend that was moving out of state. During this time he had the opportunity to watch and on a few occasions train with his good friend Rick Bozeat a local Juilliard graduate and a good buddy of Carmine Appice
Since then, Rosario has been privileged to perform with and open for many great musicians. The likes of Blackfoot, Pinetop Perkins---(RIP), Willie “Big-Eyes” Smith are just a few to name, but he seconds what Richie said: “Happy and proud to share a stage with the best group of musicians I have ever played with!”
Ro lists Charlie Watts, John Bonham, Alan White, Carmine Appice, Phil Collins and Rick Bozeat as his musical influences. Although he has a great passion for the drums, Rosario’s other love is soccer (still playing today but only at half the speed), according to him:
“The GOOD LORD made me a natural at soccer but makes me practice the drums”.
